It’s been almost two years since I hit a wall of discouragement while writing my book, Restoring Your Heart to Deepen Intimacy. It was at that time a friend reminded me of Galatians 4:4, “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son...” In other words, eventually the book will be published at the destined time, much like the birth of a baby. When she spoke the words, in the fullness of time aloud, they resonated deep within my heart. I sensed the Father encouraging me to stop hurrying toward the destination, place my impatience aside, and rest in the fact that it will happen, in God’s timing. Looking back on my life, God has never been late, nor early; He’s always right on time.
It’s official, my book Restoring Your Heart to Deepen Intimacy has been born! The premise is this: Our intimacy with God and others is correlated to how emotionally healthy and whole our hearts are. The greater our emotional wholeness is, the greater our intimacy will be. The first half of the book, Restoring Your Heart, is about my healing journey from abandonment, rejection, shame, fear, and deception. The second half of the book, Deepening Intimacy, includes chapters on knowing God, knowing our identity, loving and obeying God, soaking in God’s presence, and hearing God’s voice.

The paperback version normally sells for $15.99, but through March 7 we are offering it for $7.99, almost half off. The digital version is $7.99 and is on sale for 99 cents throughout the first week in March. God’s Word says it best: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). And in that we can place our trust in God to be right on time.
